Meet Donna

Simply put I am a female, African American, retired Chicago police officer turned full time artist.

I don't throw on the wheel, think of the movie, Ghost. I hand build.

My roots run wide and deep.

My logo brings together Sankofa, an Akan symbol from Ghana, and a tree. Sankofa represents “go back and get”—learning from the past. The tree reflects my connection to genealogy.
